Guidelines
1. These exercises and pranayaam are free of any side effects. However in the beginning atleast 1 or 2
practical sessions should be done under teacher’s supervision to ensure correct method and timings.
2. Those suffering with high / low blood pressure or other chronic diseases should do these exercises and
pranayaam very slowly and comfortably. Further proper advice from their medical advisors must be sought.
3. The patients who have just been operated on any part of the body should do these exercises and pranayaam
under guidance of qualified Yoga teachers and advice from their medical advisors.
4. Do not overexert yourself in any manner. Do it according to your capacity but follow the minimum routine to
get the benefits. These pranayaam are a Golden key that will help you and besides ensuring a disease free
life will lead you towards the ultimate goal of life, samadhi or merger with the divine.
5. If you cannot do all the exercises due to time restrictions, should atleast do seven important Pranayaam
(breathing exercises) of which most important are two namely Kapaalbhaati and Anulom Vilom
Pranayaam.
6. Do not take bath for until atleast next 15 minutes of these exercises and pranayaam. Do not eat or drink
anything for until atleast 30 minutes after these exercises.
7. Do not eat or drink water while doing the above exercises and pranayaam.
8. If you sweat while doing these exercises and pranayaam, use soft towel to wipe.
9. Do not breathe in or out from mouth. It should be done from nose with mouth closed always.
10. Try to practice these exercises and pranayaam at the same time everyday to get their best results.
Whichever exercises and pranayaam you do, follow them religiously every day with correct method and timing
as indicated to get desired results.
Other instructions for healthy living:
1. Drink 3-4 glass of warm water in the morning before brushing your teeth.
2. Fill your mouth with drinking water and sprinkle clean water gently on your eyes 10-15 times and throw the
water back. Repeat this 3 times. This is very good for improving your eye sight and keeping eyes fresh and
healthy.
3. You can eat good breakfast and lunch but try to keep your dinner light. Body does not exert at all during the night and therefore heavy food requires a lot of effort for digestion by your system which in turn causes faster wear and tear.
4. Try to keep your diet balanced with 50% of salads, vegetables, soups, 25% of the proteins and carbohydrates (chapati, rice, lentils etc) and leave remaining 25% for the liquids. This will enable you feel lighter even after meals, faster digestion and give a lot of quick energy.
5. Do not drink water while eating your meals or atleast until one hour after your meals.
